As the Cloud Architect for Partech Inc., you responsible for leading the design and implementation of effective technology solutions that serve as the foundation for all hosted applications in the Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) environment. This includes providing the leadership to ensure that correct technologies are selected, appropriate architectures are designed/selected and implemented and hardware and software solutions are correctly integrated and configured to meet agreed upon project requirements.

Create and manage reference implementations for managing all Infrastructure as Code
Drive product/tool/software selection for managing Azure infrastructure
Continuously optimize the infrastructure to deliver cost effective solutions in Azure
Collaborate with application architects to deliver optimal end-to-end software architecture for applications in Azure
Work in an Agile Software Development Live Cycle and collaborate with development teams to achieve continuous software delivery.
Oversight of comprehensive monitoring and incident management infrastructure
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure
Solid technical background with a strong subject matter expertise in Azure and cloud computing
Azure Certified Cloud Architect – Associate Level. Professional Level preferred
Experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud.
Good communication skills, a thought leader / innovative thinker
Experience in the design and automation of Infrastructure as a Service
Experience in the design and development of cloud-native distributed applications
Experience in microservice architecture, ReST APIs, API Gateways, loosely coupled integrations
4+ years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures
Expertise with configuration management tools like Chef/Puppet/Ansible
Must be able to code in a scripting language, Powershell, PERL, etc.
Experience with continuous integration, log collection and analysis, builds and performance monitoring/tuning of infrastructure.
Self-motivated and self-accountable for delivery and adherence to standards and delivery timelines.
Ability to simplify and elevate deep technical topics.
