National Account Executive - Southeast Remote


PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR) is a leading provider of restaurant and retail technology for the hospitality segment. With revenues for this segment of approximately $141 million for 2015 and approximately $105 million for the 9-months end September 30, 2016, PAR’s hospitality business segment products can be found in large chain and independent table service restaurants to international quick service chains, as well as retailers, cinemas, cruise lines, stadiums and food service companies. PAR’s government business is also a leader in providing computer-based system design, engineering and technical services to the Department of Defense and various federal agencies.

ParTech, Inc. has an opportunity available for a National Account Executive to join its Sales team based out of San Diego, CA. The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for PAR’s restaurant solutions including software, hardware and services.



  • Demonstrate understanding of features/benefits of PAR/Brink solution software, PAR EverServ hardware and PAR services
  • Determine customer solution requirements and coordinate internal PAR team required to implement and deliver customer solution
  • Negotiate contracts for software, hardware & services
  • Develop lasting relationships with the target customers and prospective customers
  • Prepare detailed proposals that include hardware, software and services in order to effectively represent solutions and position the company to win
  • Respond to customer requests for proposals that include all areas of company products & services
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve assigned goals
  • Prepare sales forecast as required
  • Represent company at outside events (i.e. trade shows, conferences, association meetings) as requested by management
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition



  • 5-7+ years experience of successful technology solutions sales within the restaurant vertical
  • Specific experience in “cloud based” software, deployed as a service subscription
  • Sales “campaign management” experience
  • Experience in rallying company resources around capturing a deal
  • Experience in meeting customer goals through deployment of technology
  • Demonstrated record of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Skilled at identifying decision-makers and building strong executive relationships
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Comfortable presenting with conviction to senior financial executives
  • Strong consultative selling, listening, and writing skills
  • Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the impact and value of products and services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of how products and services can positively impact organizations operations
  • Ability to provide dynamic product demonstrations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be willing and able to travel as necessary to meet objectives (up to 50%)
