Installation Planner

Under the direction of the Manager of Installation Administration, receives sales orders for customer equipment installations, makes contact with customers to review configuration and verifies the orders for accuracy, and works with customer to reach consensus on an installation date. Coordinates installations by dispatching selected qualified installers. Utilizing PAR’s CRM system, updates shipment and installation dates to meet the customers' requirements.  Manages workflow of all documents and information to allocated departments to ensure timely delivery of requirements in accordance with planned installation date.  Monitors the order to ensure product is available and will ship to meet the scheduled installation. Works closely with a variety of contracted third party companies to coordinate all aspects of the POS system implementation.

Maintains constant communication between inter-departmental PAR personnel and customer before, during and after installation.  Must be able to solve installation issues immediately when identified or escalate them to the correct department. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.  Contributes to the productive results of the work group by supporting and participating in continual improvement efforts.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent the PAR installations team on customer-facing project meetings.
  • Create and distribute installation status reports internally and externally.
  • Serve as point of contact and communicate installation status adequately to all stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work with multiple teams and business units simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Possesses an understanding of and performs work related activities in accordance with and in support of the corporation Quality Policy
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Associates degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage details and timelines for multiple complex implementations.
  • Above-average attention to details
  • Above-average time management skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and execute several projects at once

 

MANAGEMENT/CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with planning work activities and organizing these activities into segments which are realizable in a timely manner.
  • This position is an office role with core office hours of 9:00am – 4:00pm with two hours of flexibility on either the front end of back end these core hours to meet the minimum requirement of an 8-hour work day.

 

COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicates at multiple levels within PAR and customer organizations.
