Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator with work with assigned Project Managers and is responsible for coordinating POS hardware and software implementation for multiple Quick Serve and Fast Casual Restaurants. These projects will include customized hardware and software configurations, and will require both internal and external resources in a matrixed environment. The Project Coordinator will interact with various internal PAR teams and external customers, subcontractors, vendors, and key executives in order to successfully implement project plans.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under the direction of a Project Manager or the Director of the PMO (Project Management Office), coordinate activities, equipment and information for assigned projects.
  • Through discovery meetings, liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Help prepare project proposals, timeframes and schedules.
  • Create and manage project and department reports including performance metrics.
  • Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise or escalate to the Project Manager as required.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, project reviews and maintain project status reports.
  • Serve as point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work with multiple teams and business units simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Performs work related activities in accordance with and in support of the corporation Quality Policy.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Possesses understanding of quality processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Associates degree in a related field.

MANAGEMENT/CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will provide leadership for assigned projects under the guidance of Project Managers.
  • Requires operating in a matrixed team environment.
  • This position is an office role with core office hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm with two hours of flexibility on either the front end of back end these core hours to meet the minimum requirement of an 8-hour work day.

COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicates at multiple levels within PAR and customer organizations.
