Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and directing POS hardware and software implementation for multiple Quick Serve and Fast Casual Restaurant and Retail locations around the world. These projects will include customized hardware and software configurations, and will require both internal and external resources in a matrixed environment. The Project Manager will provide leadership and technical expertise to various internal PAR teams and external customers, subcontractors, vendors, and key executives in order to successfully manage simultaneous projects according to plan, including scope, budget, and schedule.

                                               

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage project from initiation through project close.
  • Establish and maintain project leadership across departments, subcontractors, vendors and customers.
  • Identify and manage, issues, risks, project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and budgets.
  • Define, verify and control scope and negotiate scope changes with customer.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, project reviews and maintain project status reports.
  • Mentor, motivate and supervise project team members.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 4 year college degree in related field required.
  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • 2+ years of project management experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and processes.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

MANAGEMENT/CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Oversight of project resources in a matrix organization to ensure task accountability, excellence in performance and adherence to policies and procedures.

 

COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES/TRAVEL:

  • Communicates at multiple levels within PAR and customer organizations.
  • Must have flexible schedule to accommodate various time zone requirements.
  • Must be able to travel if required by business needs.
