Talent Acquisition Specialist

PAR Technology is seeking qualified Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) to support our Restaurant / Retail business unit.  As a strategic partner, the TAS will align recruitment and retention objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The incumbent will also serve a supporting role on Human Resource related initiatives. The TAS will assess and anticipate recruiting needs focused on the Restaurant POS Business. Additional recruiting support for other open positions within PAR. He or she will communicate needs proactively with the business management, and seek to develop integrated solutions. The TAS will formulate partnerships with the greater HR team to deliver value added service that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The successful incumbent will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its mid range plans, its culture and its competition.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

  • Implement Recruiting programs to help the business attract, retain and motivate talent.  This includes: creation of job descriptions, sourcing candidates, interviewing, screening and onboarding.
  • Use social media to attract/source talent in conjunction with improving our Corporate Image.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.  Develop and run initiatives to attain results in these areas.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
  • Improve and build upon our internal onboarding experience.

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in high volume recruitment and selection environment.
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • Relevant experience with Technology/Software Development recruiting required.
