Product Manager - POS Software Integrations

ParTech’s product management team is seeking an experienced product manager to join our hospitality Point of Sale software group. This is a new position in our Markham, Ontario office where the successful candidate will be working along other product managers, channel sales, development and quality assurance teams located in our San Diego and Markham POS software houses.

The Product Manager for Point of Sale Software Integrations is responsible for managing all 3rd party integrations to ParTech’s Brink and PixelPoint POS software with the exclusion of payment system integrations.

Management of the integration product plan
Management of the integrations product road map
Work with Business Analysts to articulate customer business and technical requirements into user and technical stories
Management of related feature prioritization
Acceptance of feature completion based on product and feature acceptance criteria
Owner of API product pricing strategy for web and in-store
External communication about API product planning, API road map, new integration partnerships for key customers
Maintains relationship with all non-payment integration partners
Negotiation of integration agreement terms for commissions, residuals, support fees unique to each agreement with vendors
Focus on Web API, loyalty, KDS, OCB, paging, peripherals, import/export tools, mobile SDK
Review and acceptance of integration related software enhancement requests
Review and acceptance of requests for new integration partnerships
Manages API integrator on-boarding process
Manages Web-API developer program and web tools
Manages integration related articles within the tech center
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Excellent English written & verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills

2+ years of experience working within an agile software team
2+ years of experience in product management
College Diploma or Degree
Experience with Kanban or Scrum
